薄大偉(David Bray），男，1964年生，澳大利亞墨爾本大學(University of Melbourne,
2000)博士，悉尼大學(The University of Sydney)語言與文化學院中國研究高級講師(Senior
Lecturer)，《中國研究》系主任，曾留學中國多年、精通中文。主要研究中國城市社會轉型、單位制度演變及社區(qū)建設等，在國際上享有盛譽。主要作品除專著Social
Space and Governance in Urban China: The danwei system from origins
to reform(Stanford University Press, 2005)外，還有“Building
‘Community’: New Strategies of Governance in Urban China”(Economy
and Society, 2006)、“治理型設計：武漢兩個社區(qū)的空間與權力”(《中國研究》, 2007)、“Designing to
govern: space and power in two Wuhan communities”(Built
